QUALIFICATIONS
In order to enter VEA, you must:
- Be a U.S. resident, or residing in the United states.
- Be between the ages of 18 and 23 on December 31st
- Not have a record contract or product endorsement
APPLICATION PROCESS
To be considered, you must:
- Complete all information on the application and submit online audio recordings (no video) of this year’s selected repertoire.
Deadline for submission is December 31st, 11:59PM EST. Applications will be submitted online through an Acceptd portal. The portal opens every year in the fall. There is no fee for entry into the competition.

Prize winners will be notified by phone or email in February after the deadline.
All applicants are judged ‘blind’ and anonymously by judges selected by Vandoren.
