Repertoire

Each category requires 3 separate pieces. Accompaniment where appropriate is suggested, but not required.

2025 Classical Clarinet:

  • Augusta Holmès: Fantaisie for Clarinet and Piano
  • Paquito D’Rivera: Three pieces for Clarinet and Piano (I. Contradanza, II. Habanera, III. Vals Venezolano – Upload each piece as a separate track)
  • A single contrasting work of applicant’s choice – not to exceed 15 minutes

Please make separate tracks for each piece or song.  DO NOT put your name in the filename, label each file with the correct composition title. Please submit the repertoire in the order listed here. Audio recordings only, no video.

All materials must be uploaded by December 31st, 2024 11:59PM EST. Poor audio quality may affect judges’ decisions. Winners will be announced in February 2025.

 

 

 


2025 Classical Saxophone:

  • Robert Stine II at the 2020 MFA Festival

  • Claude Pascal: Sonatine for Alto Saxophone and Piano
  • Evan Williams: Rock Steady for Alto Saxophone
