Jason Arkins is a 20 year old saxophonist and composer, from Carmel, NY, who attends the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. He has studied with many great saxophonists such as Ed Xiques, Troy Roberts, and Marcus Strickland. In high school, Jason was a member of the Next Generation Jazz Orchestra, NYO Jazz, and a YoungArts Finalist. He also attended the esteemed Manhattan School of Music Precollege and participated in Christian McBride’s JAS Academy Big Band.
