Daniel Cohen is a Jazz Saxophonist, woodwind Doubler, composer, arranger and educator from Tel Aviv, Israel and currently based in NYC pursuing his studies at The Juilliard School. Cohen has been awarded many scholarships such as: America Israel Foundation, Tzfonot Tarbut, Ran Baron and Jim Widner Scholarship. In later years, Cohen took interest in Classical music which enriched his foundation and style. His playing style is deeply rooted in the Jazz tradition and his compositions combine elements of Jazz and Classical music.
